The controller of your personal data is Global Cinema AI (hereinafter, "the Site"), accessible at globalcinemai.com.

Account data: When you create an account, we collect only your email address. We do not request a password — access is via a magic link sent to your email.

Usage data: When you watch videos while authenticated, we store your viewing progress (seconds elapsed) and your language preferences (audio and subtitles) per video. This lets you continue from where you left off.

We process your email to:

• Let you create an account and access the service.

• Send you magic links for access.

• Notify you when we release new content on the platform. This is the primary purpose of registration and constitutes a communication inherent to the service you requested when subscribing.

• Communicate essential matters related to your account or the operation of the Site.

You may object to receiving new-content notifications at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by deleting your account from your profile to stop all processing.

We process usage data (viewing progress, language preferences) only to remember your progress and improve your experience. We do not perform profiling or automated decisions with legal effects on you.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by registering and accepting this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.

We retain your data while your account is active. If you choose to delete it, all your data will be permanently erased within 30 days.

To deliver the service, your data is processed by the following technology providers (data processors under Art. 28 GDPR):

• Supabase Inc. (United States) — Authentication and database.

• Cloudflare Inc. (global) — Web hosting, CDN and content delivery.

• Resend Inc. (United States) — Transactional email delivery (magic links).

These providers process your data under a data processing agreement (DPA) with the international transfer safeguards required by GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).

We do not share or sell your data to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), object to processing, restriction of processing, portability of your data in a structured format (JSON), withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Fast option: delete your account directly from your profile on globalcinemai.com — this erases all your data without contacting us.

Email option: for any other right, write to [email protected] stating which right you wish to exercise and the email associated with your account. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days.

globalcinemai.com uses only strictly necessary cookies: authentication cookies (Supabase) that keep your session, and language cookies (next-intl) that remember the selected language. These cookies are exempt from consent under Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce them in the future, we will notify you and request your explicit consent.

We may update this Policy to reflect legal or functional changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of the document. If we introduce substantial changes affecting how we process your data, we will notify you by email before applying them.
